This is a blog about ventures which are fusing social objectives with the age old business objective of pursuing profit. While many companies today are socially conscious, and do make bold efforts to move their businesses toward social and environmental sustainability, social ventures, run by social entrepreneurs are different. We have found innovative ways to address social and environmental issues through profit making models.
In this blog, I hope to explore the ventures which an increasing number of social entrepreneurs are embarking on. I am doing this in part to learn more about the topic myself, but also to raise awareness of a new way in which business can be done.
